SANDERSON FAMILIES OF THE NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS

A number of Sanderson families flourished in the area of the North Yorkshire Moors around Liverton, Lythe, Hinderwell and Danby. A separate page has now been set up for the Sanderson family of Hinderwell and Staithes, with details of the related interests incorporated there.


Jayne Kennedy is researching the family of James Sanderson of Liverton (b.c.1761)
John Sanderson is researching the family of John Sanderson of Danby (b.c.1820), whose children were born in Liverton.
Charles Marley is researching the family of Maria Sanderson (b.c.1823 Liverton), probable daughter of Christiana Sanderson, possible daughter of James and Jane (m.1807)
John Jennison is researching the family of the William Sanderson who married Mahalah Normington in Danby in 1814.
Emily Sanderson is researching the family of the Thomas Sanderson (possibly brother of the above William) who married Hannah Appleton in Danby in 1817.
Lesley Barrow is interested in the family of Robert Sanderson of Lythe (1751), whose daughter Mary (1783) married George Booth there in 1806.
